Welcome to the Aussie Muscle Car Museum!
Australia's largest private collection of muscle cars reopens for your viewing enjoyment Xmas 2015.
For now, take a sneak peak at what lies in store...
AMCM features around 90 collectible cars from the 1960s to the present day, including Falcon GTs, Monaros, Toranas, Chargers, Tickfords, Brocks, HSVs and much much more. Formerly located in the famous Narangba "chook shed", new buildings are currently being constructed at our new location in Bald Hills, Brisbane Northside for our grand reopening Xmas 2015.
Since opening its doors way back in March 2005, thousands of guests have enjoyed the unique AMCM experience, jettisoning back to simpler times, and bathing in over 50 years of Aussie nostalgia, reminiscing and swapping stories of the 'cars we owned back in the day and wish we'd kept', and rekindling their love of these amazing old vehicles. For many it provided the impetus to commit to a new restoration project, or to finish the one already languishing in the garage.
Collection creator and owner Jeff Bloom will again be conducting personal tours, recounting with delight much of the fascinating history of the vehicles and their manufacturers, and including interesting and often humorous personal anecdotes which visitors often comment really makes their tour experience all the more memorable and enjoyable.
The majority of cars are what would be deemed 'survivors', ie mostly original with minimal restoration work undertaken, and retaining much of their original patina. Visitors say seeing the presentation of the vehicles is like entering a timewarp, which is Jeff's intention. The new facility also boasts period decoration pieces including posters, signage, advertising, petrol bowsers, period clothing and more. It also includes our unique 'ManCave', proving to be popular with people of all ages and backgrounds as a party/entertainment venue.
As the countdown to reopening continues, we will post opening dates and booking procedures. At this stage, we are looking to conduct personal & club tours every 2nd and 4th Sunday, with other special openings arranged by appointment.
