News Flash! AMCM opens world's first indoor drive-in theatre!
Take 3 classic 1972 replicas of the "supercars that got away" - LJ Torana GTR XU-1 V8, VH Charger R/T V8 6 Pack, XA Falcon GTHO Phase 4, park them side by side on chequerboard tiles, fit authentic 1972 drive-in movie speakers onto the doors, crank up the 8 speaker surround sound with amplifier, insert your choice of Aussie car chase flick into the DVD player and data projector and big screen, and let the fun begin!
After the movie, challenge your mates to a game of pool or pinball, try your hand at some 80s arcade games (48 to choose from), fire up the jukebox and enjoy tunes from your misspent youth, or pore over classic Aussie motoring magazines of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
You'll think you've died and gone to Bogan heaven!
Coming soon to AMCM - the world's first indoor drive-in movie theatre. Book it for your car club event, birthday party, bucks night or other special event. (but remember: NO funny business in the back seat!!)
Opening May 2010 (more photos soon)
Attention all Muscle Car Handymen (and Women)!
Help us turn this: into this:

Some time ago AMCM acquired an XF 25th Anniversary Falcon, already converted to V8 Cleveland power. We're itching to turn this into a replica of the Street Machine "One HO to GO" giveaway car of 1988.
A quick bit of history for you: Street Machine procured a 302 V8 powered XE ESP, then had Bob McWilliam of Phase Autos fame supply a trick bodykit (inspired by the famous Ford "Millenium" ute), Roman Autotech sent over a tasty set of Compomotive 17" alloys wrapped in sticky Pirelli P1000 rubber and Recaro front pews, 'big rev Kev' Bartlett built the fuel injected 351 and T5 5 speed box, Hella supplied the driving lights, and the car was professionally lowered and squirted a special shade of Monza Red with added metalflake.
Street Machine ran it against a new Walkinshaw Group A VL Commodore, and blew its doors off, prompting the tester to wonder why Ford never went into production with this beast. Well, AMCM is going to do what Ford didn't, but we need your help.
After the car was given to a lucky reader, it seems to have vanished off the face of the planet, so we're looking for sponsors to help make our replica a reality.
If you can supply cash, parts, trade expertise (paint/panel, mechanical, electrical,
upholstery) or assembly (and receive LOTS of free publicity in front of our considerable and rapidly expanding fan base), contact Jeff on (0403) 591133 and let the build begin!
Lamborghini Club visits AMCM!
If you had the means and the inclination to buy a $1/2 million supercar, you wonder why you'd be bothered with old Falcons and Holdens, but recently around 20 members from the Qld Lamborghini Club paid us a visit. The spectacle of all of these V12 mid engined supercars cruising in convoy to our facility was a sight and sound to behold (and gave the neighbours plenty to talk about!) The club was very enthusiastic in their praise of the collection (quite a few of them owned muscle cars over the years) and there's already talk of coming back next year.
Have YOU booked your club into an AMCM tour yet? It's easy. Click on "Upcoming Tours" to select your preferred date (2nd and 4th Sundays), then go to the "Book a Tour" tag, and follow the prompts. Easy!
AMCM visits the world's largest collector of Aussie Ford memorabilia!
Just when you think you've got a collecting problem and need major therapy, you meet this bloke...
Mark F has been collecting Aussie Ford trinkets since 1990, has an extensive collection of posters (he stopped counting at 1500!), brochures, advertising literature, key rings, belt buckles, jackets, cloth patches, catalogues, tie pins, cuff links and much much more.
Many have been autographed by racing car drivers (Moffatt, Bond, Brock, Seton, Bowe, Lowndes, Skaife et al) team managers, executives and CEOs. A bit of Holden stuff has crept into the collection, but Mark remains a staunch blue oval boy through and through.
Mark was also in frequent contact with Ford archivist Adrian Ryan before his passing late last year, and possesses a formidable historical knowlege of the cars of the muscle car era, providing valuable information for this site and being all too eager to correct Jeff on any mistakes that somehow slip through the net!!
Here is a tiny tiny sample of Mark's amazing collection. Enjoy...
